Katla is a wonderfully experienced mare who has competed in 4-gait, 5-gait, T1, T2 and Gædingakeppni – and she has done it with both junior and senior riders.
She is a beautiful, vindót mare with a good FIZO approval, and she carries herself naturally with her elegant, well-shaped neck.
Katla is uncomplicated in both gaits and handling. She can be ridden by most people with a bit of experience, and her stop is always light and reliable – you feel safe on her from the very first moment.
She is also a dream on trail rides, both alone and in a group. Katla takes things calmly, isn’t easily spooked, and always gives her rider a genuinely good experience.
